Stayed July 27th 2009. I was met by Dorian (owner out of burg) The food was great. Had the whole place to my self. Nice to a have access to a clothes washer as I was packing light for the ride from Kansas to the Arch. Asked for a 6am breakfast and Dorian had it ready. I was on the Trail by 0620. Lucky Dorain had the key to the camping store. Was able to get a cold coke. Good stop....curt Thanks for letting me stay

We camped at Katfish Katy's Tuesday August 2, 2009. Great place to camp with great showers/restrooms. Lots of sites to chose from - all a nice walk to the showers. A thankful and much needed cup of coffee in the morning to start our day back on the trail. Easy to locate as you ride into Huntsdale...

We were disappointed that we never could spot the petroglyphs, even though we looked for quite awhile on our way to Rocheport from Huntsdale. We didn't get a chance to look them on our way back since we had to take refuge in the front of the cave from a terrible thunderstorm with hail and lightening! I realize you're not supposed to go in the cave, and hope the owner would forgive us under the circumstances.
