Subject: Is it too muddy

The MKT that runs from McBaine to Columbia is a muddy mess and the local P and R is
replacing two of the bridges so its basically unrideable right now.

There is a large beautiful, original pen/ink drawing of this wonderful tree at Art & Antiques in Rocheport on the Katy Trail...prints are available,too.

Subject: Lucy's Bar & Grill (McBaine)

We stopped at Lucy's anticipating a nice warm lunch. It was around 1:30 we were told not very nicely that the kitchen closed at 2 and they lock up at 2:30. We decided to have crackers and cheese at the traihead. This was the only low point of our 5 day ride. Even the lousy weather was better than the way they acted.
