Hi, I am doing the Katy in a couple of weeks, self-supported. Flying into St. Louis & staying at a B&B (Lococo III). Is there anywhere close by in St. Charles to buy alcohol for my Trangia and/or fuel canisters for my little teeny stove? Thanks for info ~~

I would think twice about patronizing this establishment. They have been extremely unkind to their teenaged employees and downright hostile at times. It might be best to give your business to other local businesses that treat their employees with respect and dignity.

Family of four enjoyed a short ride(only gone an hour)from the parking lot on the west side of the Page Extension bridge but returned to a busted-out window in our vehicle and several missing items. We weren't the only car on the lot that was vandalized. Police officers said it happens all the time. If you choose to park there, lock your car and leave it completely void of anything including pocket change in the cup holder.
A friend and I plan to bike the Katy trail this summer. We would like to be shuttled from St. Charles where we plan to leave our car to Clinton where we will start our ride. Can Show Me MO Tours provide this service and how much will it cost?
Where will the expanded Katy Trail be located on the south side of the Page Extension? I live there and am distressed to learn it may pass less than 20 feet from my bedroom window. Can this possibly be correct? John White (our St. Charles councilman) will not discuss with the residents exactly where it will be, other than just saying it's a "done deal" and "you can't do anything about it", when one of our Heritage Trails residents spoke to him the week of April 10, 2005.. Heritage Trails Residents are NOT amused, John.
