Three of us took Amtrak from Kirkwood to Jeff City on July 14 and pedaled back to the Harbor Haus Inn in Hermann for the first day. We were very impressed with Hermann. The Harbor Haus Inn was great and very friendly. Our group of three had two flats and the Hermann Bike shop opened up after hours to sell us tubes and some equipment (we got in after 5:00 p.m. due to the breakdowns), and the Mexican Restaurant was excellent. Thank you Hermann for the hospitality. We won't forget it.
