It won't be long now, time to dust off the bikes and start planning that upcoming Katy Trail bike ride. St. Charles is a great place to begin or end a bike ride. The trail is only one block from Main St.There you can find bikes, bike supplies and repair service(Momentum Cycle) there are restaurants with luscious burgers (R.T Weiler)or restaurants with fresh crispy salads and vegetables (MAGPIE)that would be a refreshing change after many burgers and bratwurst on the trail. There are museums (Louis & Clark Boathouse) also art galleries(Geo Denningers) and (The Art Foundry) You can start your ride here with a day or two of leisure beforehand, there are places to leave your vehicle. There is a shuttle service(Lococo House ll) and there are a number of cozy Bed & Breakfast(Lococo House ll) so get out your Katy Trail Guild Book and get on your computer and make plans and reservations. See you in 2009.
