I was wondering what the best time would be to see the leaves in October ...when are they supposed to peak, does anybody know? Linda

They usually peak around the second to third week of October, but seem to be running a little late this year. This section of the home page has a couple of links that you may find helpful.

Oddly enough the leaves are still very green with just a touch of faint color. I guees you could say that we should be enjoying the clors but probally need another blast of colder air and rain to get what we want.

Went Sunday between JC and Hartsburg. Leaves starting to change. Next weekend should be great.
