My husband and I would love to ride 50 miles on our 50th wedding anniversary this June (even if it takes two days). We have ridden some Rails-to-Trails, have good bikes and our max so far has been 30 miles. The "catch" is, we'd like to stay in a nice campground (or at least have power) in our small RV, but want a really nice restaurant near-by (maybe even a winery). Ideas for us?

How about Rocheport to Hartsburg (25 miles) and back? Beautiful scenery and then the winery in Rocheport (Les Bourgeois) is a nice reward. Camp in Hartsburg if 50 miles is too much. Good luck, sounds like fun!

I would highly recommend that 25 mile section as well. Catfish Katy's has a campground. Have never used it but have seen plenty of RVs there and assume they have power. Catfish Katy's is right on the trail between Hartsburg and Rocheport. Have a wonderful time. Congratulations on the 50th!
