Are there any places to get food between Hermann and Peers?

Annon. No. 6 on 8/22/2012 8:50:56 AM:
Gas stations across the river by Rt. 94, Loutre Market. Lost Creek Vineyard maybe? Go to McKittrick and Treloar on this site.

Joey and Rich just opened the Mercantile in McKittrick on weekends and she can COOK! For newcomers, that is across the river from Hermann right at the trailhead. The Deli in Loutre Market serves every day and they do a good job too. Both extremely friendly helpful stops.

The restaurant in Treloar is closed, as is the Peers store. It's 23 miles between McKittrick and Marthasville - be prepared!

For what it is worth...rode Hermann to St. Charles just last Saturday (August 18)...my ride confirms the above information.

Just 3 miles east of Peers is the town of Marthasville. Philly's Pizza and Twin Gables (Bar and Grill) are just off the trail. Philly's is closed on Mondays though.

There was a place in Treloar open last summer. Bar food and drinks. Not sure if they're still open.
