I hiked the entire Katy Trail and Acorn Ridge was one of the 4 bed and breakfasts I stayed at. I had never been in a BnB until this last week and they are all so different. Acorn Ridge was very comfortable, the house was amazing and Natasha and Mike were so wonderful. They were very down to earth, gracious and accommodating. My quirky requests were well received and fulfilled. The little touches made Acorn Ridge amazing -- the robes, organic toiletries, bed linens and towels were so amazing after a day of hiking 25 miles. The landscaping was amazing as well it had all those little touches of home. Mike was nice enough to let me borrow his bike so I could visit Klondike Park (which is was well worth the it) and gets some pictures before dark and to help me plan my next days hike. Out of all the places I stayed on my journey this one sticks out in my memory -- the bed, pillows and the robe were so comfy!!! And they completely forgave my hiker hunger. It's not right on the trail and the walk/ride to it is hilly so be prepared if your on foot/bike for an extra mile maybe.
