Any suggestions for a place to stay in Clinton. All the places i see look to be several miles from the trail and along highways.
We will be arriving in Clinton trailhead around 5 p.m. so might be better idea to head to Calhoun or Windsor.

We stayed at Hampton Inn and kept our tandem in the room with us. They had a good breakfast (free) and let us take a snack bag with us. Staff were great!

I've stayed at the USA Inn on 2-3 occasions. (I believe that's what its called). Not far at all from the trailhead. VERY basic, but clean and cheap!
