You can camp right in town at Volunteer Park across from the Post Office. There are 3 places to eat and water and toilets are at the trailhead. The Mo River is 1 and 1/2 miles away on a gravel road but you will ride beside it coming from the west (Boonville). Try us.

Yes indeed Hartsburg is a great place to stop or stay. I have been there many times and always enjoy this great town. Be advised though that if you are there on a Mon. or Tues., the only place to eat is the Hitching Post Bar, they only serve frozen pizza, although after a long day they seem good.
