My daughter and I stayed at the shelter overnight on our way from Rocheport to Defiance. Most indoor accommodations along the trail seem to be of the bed & breakfast variety, which wasn't ideal for us, so this was a great find. Lots of beds, showers, and good company from a couple of fellow-travelers. Also, someone (previous guests?) had left quite a variety of food in the refrigerator, and we were able to assemble an entire lunch to carry with us on our next day's bike. Next time, I'll try to return the favor by bringing some food to leave behind.
