How do I contact "Don"? I'd like to reserve a camping spot in June, but I don't see a contact number. Also does anyone have any suggestions on places to visit around town. I'll be on my 5th day on the trail and would like any suggestions on where I could grab a cold beer and a decent meal.

DNR has the camping contact number in Marthasville as 636-433-5554. I usually go to Twin Gables when passing through that town.

If you are lucky there will be ball games when you are there, and if so then just go to the ball diamond and buy beer and food at the Community Club. They have an excellent concession there and the "cultural experience" of an evening at the Marthasville ball diamond is really quite nice. The same goes for Rhineland, if you're lucky enough to be riding through when a ballgame is going on.
