We stayed in the Dormitory at School House on March 17th after cycling up from Windsor that day. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed some time out on the porch with drinks from the fridge before we cleaned up. The bike shed was a great perk and had some spare parts, tires, etc. which was thoughtful. All the door locks are number coded which makes sharing rooms and check out easy. I was excited to see a full modern laundry area which I used to clean my cycling clothes. I did happen to bring some detergent so it worked out great. The room had a nice shower and good pressure. The fridge breakfast had a little bit of everything - fruit, yogurt, sodas, bagels, cereal. I'd recommend having energy drinks, energy/granola bars, and bananas which most cyclists would take with or eat early. A couple of other comments are that if full, the rooms next door can get a bit noisy but the others were respectful of noise levels mostly. Also while it doesn't need to be huge, the TV could have been a bit bigger. It worked great to have a cable TV option in the room but wanting to watch the NCAA games that night it was something to note. We would definitely stay here again! Just a note in general, if you come from the western side of the state and go to Rocheport and turn around there, you are missing some beautiful scenery just east of the town. It is worth going out a little longer and coming back through Rocheport to see the bluffs and the river views.
