My closest friend and I biked the entire length of the Katy Trail from East to West. We stayed at Marthasville Community Club Park ("the ballfields") on 5/27/2018. There is a large covered pavilion with access to electricity to pitch your tent under. The night we stayed, there were little league games going until 10 PM, but they got rained out around 9:15 PM. Lots of kids playing during the games rather unsupervised but no troublemakers, just rambunctious. We were grateful for the shelter as there was a severe storm that came through that night and dumped 1.3 inches of rain. Hot showers (2 stalls) are in the restrooms. Restrooms are bare bones (no mirror) but adequate. A good choice for inexpensive camping. Occasional train horn at night but otherwise quiet. Since the little league games were going on starting at 6:00, the well-stocked concession stand was open and made for a convenient dinner.

Logistics: call Don at (636) 221-4062 and ask about camping at the ballfields. He'll tell you how much (currently $5/person) and how to pay. With the games, we just paid the ladies at the concession stand. As a backup, you can try to contact the Community Center directly at (636) 433-2204.
