My wife and I are biking the KT west to east the first week in October. Does anyone have recommendations for the type of clothing we may need for both biking and non-biking activities along the trail that time of year? Thanks in advance for sharing your insights and experience.

Just be prepared. I've ridden the magnificent Katy Trial in 2 Octobers and weather is mostly, just perfect...but...it can be hot and it can be cold and rainy. Take some layers and make sure you have rain gear!
Mostly just enjoy the beauty!
