Anyone camped the entire way? Seems that showers are in short supply at many of the camp sites?

Excellent! Exactly the info I wanted. Thanks very much.

The ability to search for "showers" on the website would be nice. Quite time consuming clicking on individual camping pages.

MidSouth from Rogersville, MO on 9/8/2014 1:51:08 PM:
Only took a couple minutes to look at each one to see if they have showers.

Others have reported that you can use the shower at Community Club Park in Marthasville although this website says there is none available. Farrington Park in Windsor, MO is another one that has showers available(or used to) so that is another one to look at as you are planning your trip.

Ray (webmaster) on 9/9/2014 3:59:51 AM:
Steve is correct about the showers in Marthasville - I have fixed that error on website. Showers are in the restrooms in the main building.

Jeff Barber from Springfield, MO on 5/14/2015 10:36:23 AM:
New showers (since 2011) in Windsor, MO at Gasoline Alley & Farrington Park City Campsite. This was one of the first impacts realized from the citizen participatory vision in partnership with West Central Community Action, MU Extension and the Drury Center for Community Studies (architecture students).

Great location for showers considering that this is the intersection for the future Rock Island Trail.

See my 4-part "Report on the Katy", Dale, particularly Section III, which I will post soon.

I spent some time trying to convince DNR to add a shower head in the trailheads bathrooms with water - to no avail. Happy to hear that Windsor has showers now! For camping, I highly recommend the Roundhouse and Klondike Park for campgrounds. Doug Rendleman's place in Bluffton is a nice no frills place to camp, too.
