We used the shuttle service last Friday night (10/13). Roger was great. Picked us up in Warrensburg and took us to the Parkfield Inn. Also took the time to show us the best low traffic route from the hotel over to the start of the trail since we had kids with us. Highly recommened!

We celebrated the end of the Katy trail here in fine style. We had Roger and Annette cook us supper and it was served on china and was delicious, as was breakfast the next morning. We didn't get hungry again until mid afternoon. We asked for a room that did not face the front street and our room was quiet, clean and very comfortable. I can highly recommend Haysler House for a night's stay.

We stayed at Haysler House two nights, one before our KT ride and one after. Roger also shuttled us from the train station in Sedalia back to Clinton where we had left our Vehicle. Roger and Annette were very accommodating. Do yourself a favor and let Roger prepare your evening meal as well. Comfortable rooms, great showers, good conversation.

Beautifully restored Victorian mansion with modern utilities and very tastefully decorated. Wonderful breakfast(s) with elegant table settings of linens, china, crystal and silver. Chef Roger told us we would not need lunch on the trail and he was correct. Great three-course dinner. Enjoyed the nearby historic square district and the close proximity to the trailhead. Roger and Annette are very accommodating and gracious hosts. They had fun, interesting stories from their travels abroad.

Our train was delayed into Warrensburg, and instead of arriving at 8:45 pm, we got there around 11 pm. The owners were very welcoming with a glass of sherry for us, and there was a great breakfast in the morning.
