Katy Caboose & Cottage is located on the Katy Trail, in Hartsburg MO

Located just steps from the Hartsburg trail depot, and sits right on the Katy trail this property is perfect for bikers. The Cottage is on the upper floor of the building and includes one bedroom and one full bath with fully stocked kitchen.

The cottage sleeps 3: queen bed in bedroom plus a twin sleeper sofa in living room. Air mattress is also available.

The caboose is a unique stay! You can sleep in a remodeled 1940’s authentic MKT caboose. It has a kitchenette - mini fridge, toaster oven, keurig, and sleeps 4. A full bed and twin trundle beds. The bathroom for the caboose is not connected - it is in the main floor of building next door.

Both units have access to shared laundry. The main floor is open and is perfect for indoor bike storage and e-bike charging. There is also a “snack bar” for guests to purchase drinks (water, sodas, Gatorade) and snacks (frozen pizzas, breakfast sandwiches, chips, popcorn, etc) during their stay.

We are open year round, and we do have a fire pit with wood seasonally. Pets allowed. No smoking indoors

Both units have towels, linens, dishes, and everything you need for your stay.
