Leeton Trailhead in Leeton

FYI, there is a water fountain and men’s/women’s bathroom with running water (during spring and summer) at the Leeton Trailhead.

Google Maps is a good tool to use to see the lay of the land.

Camping along rock island trail
Angie from Vancouver WA on 05/31/2021 05:09 PM:
I'm riding the Rock Island trail, heading from Windsor to Pleasant Hill. Just an FYI,if you don't want to camp in Windsor, try Leeton, 10 miles further. There is a great city park which allows camping, has a porta pottie. Water faucet can be found nearby. Would suggest you call city police just to let them know.

A 15 minute walk will get you to a Casey's Mart. There is a free museum here also.

Just a heads up: there is no running water at the trailheads after Pleasant Hill until you get to Windsor (48 miles). In other words, no running water at Medford, Chilhowee, and Leeton. You must go into Chilhowee and Leeton a couple blocks to get water from those (wonderful!) new shops. There is nothing at Medford besides a portable toilet and a parking lot (no community there). So takes lots of water and sanitizing wipes for this trail for now.
