Trail closed near Mokane until mid-March 2024

Hwy 94 runs parallel to the Katy on this stretch and has OK shoulders so it shouldn't stop anyone from riding.

This winter, one bridge on the Katy is getting a major glow-up. During this makeover, the trail will be closed west of the Mokane Trailhead for 1.3 mile to Hwy PP.
At mile marker 126.3, this bridge lies just east of Hwy PP and about 1 mile west of the Mokane Trailhead.
In its long life, this bridge has seen countless repairs and improvements, but the time has come for a full replacement.
We anticipate that the trail will reopen in mid-March.
