We loved staying at the Red Brick Inn on our Katy trip. Esther and Chuck were gracious and generous hosts. The 5:00 "happy hour" was very nice surprise. What an amazing breakfast! We plan to be back with a group of friends another time.

Esther and Chuck are gracious hosts. Three of us stayed in the Katy Trail suite, which was very comfortable. Not far from the trail, but up a big hill, and the suite is up a couple flights of stairs. A good restaurant, the Silly Goose, is in easy walking distance. I took advantage of the hot tub and had a nice relaxing soak. We were served a fantastic breakfast. Unfortunately we arrived too late for happy hour. The house is beautiful and has an interesting history.

Thanks for your updates while on your tour of the Katy Trail. Sounds like you are having a good time. The Katy is certainly different than the Tijeras NM area.

Wonderful brand new B&B right off the trail (except for the big hill!). Esther & Chuck are terrific hosts and once the pool and jacuzzi are finished, it will be the place for weary bikers. The rooms are gorgeous, happy hour terrific and breakfast even better. From Augusta, just 3-4 hours to St. Charles so the perfect place to stay.
