It's probably best to read on their website or call for specifics, but as I recall they don't accept "specialty bikes" was their terminology.

We rode the Amtrak from Sedalia to Hermann in June. We enjoyed the ride and it worked out well for our "ride back to the car" plan. I was surprised that on our train the storage area for the bikes was just 2 rows on the right side of the isle with no seats. The folks sitting behind that area moved when our bikes where loaded so we sat behind the cycles. It was a tight fit for our 3 bikes.
