Just did the trail west to east and had a blast riding and staying at B & B's! Many little towns shuttered up and stores/bike shops closed for the day, especially on weekdays, so take all supplies you'll need - don't plan on being able to get things on the trail; it's hit or miss. Highlights were The Globe in Hartsburg, Captain Woldt's Inn in Hermann, and the Lindenhoff in Augusta. It was super hot last week - take lots of water!

How many days did it take you?

Most business along the Katy are open Wednesday - Sunday. I don't see most of the towns shuttered up except on Mondays and Tuesdays. You must have hit the trail on a Monday or Tuesday.

If your antiquing an b&bing with sips of merlot now and then with some biking in the middle KT is a little more challenging.
