We stayed at Katy Junction with Jerry on a trip across the Katy. This is not our first time staying at the Katy Junction and won't be our last. Jerry's hospitality is superb as is his cooking. He always has the excellent breakfast. He is an interesting conversationalist. Jerry had the Katy Junction nicely decorated and includes a lot of history. We were very comfortable. The warm shower hit the spot!
We ate dinner at Deno's. It was steak and potato night. The food was decent and the prices nice. This continues to be a smoking establishment. The cook was even sitting at the bar smoking when we walked in. Unfortunately, this is the only place in town so, unless you want to pick up dinner at Casey's you have to endure the smoking.
