The Comfort Suites in St. Charles is close to the Katy Trail. I've stayed there a few times in the past.

Depending on availability, my Bird Haus is an option. I do 1 night stays for bicyclists during the week. It is located a block up from the Katy Trail, next to the Stone Chapel: https://missourihaus.com/birdhaus
