Trail in this section is in good shape as well and so beautiful! Many creeks and bridges - even saw an otter in Shaver Creek. No detours or closures. Lots of small limbs and black walnuts on the trail, but you can easily navigate them. Don't miss the old Katy railroad bridge just past the Boonville trail head by the Isle of Capri parking lot.

Whoops - should mention the Sedalia reroute. If you're accustomed to riding on roads for 2-3 miles, you'll be fine. If not, have someone drop you off where the trail picks back up. There's decent signage to guide you.
