Beautiful day with excellent trail conditions (mostly!) and fabulous scenery through Cooper’s Landing. There were three significant detours on today’s route. The first, just out of Boonville across the bridge, was fairly easy. The second, about 10 miles in, required a few miles of travel on Hwy 40 without ample shoulder to Rocheport. As posted all over this forum, the 5 miles of trail after Cooper’s Landing through Easley to Wilton was challenging with sand and gravel. We made it through but at this point where the trail was closed, we snagged a ride for the last 4 miles since we were lucky enough to be supported.
