I know there is a place to camp in north Jefferson along the trail. Is there a better in Jefferson City to Camp ?

Not that I know of. I would stay at the hostel in Tebbetts. Jeff City is across the river from the trail, so you have to go across the bridge to get to the actual town. Have fun!

Or, plop your stuff down in N Jefferson, and ride over to Central Dairy, and eat your weight in ice cream for like 10 bucks. Still dreaming about that ice cream.

Central Dairy is amazing. $3 will buy a big bowl of deliciousness!! I miss the fried chicken at the airport. I have heard they are re-opening somewhere in downtown Jeff City as the airport terminal may be being demolished.

The airport Nick’s has moved to Warwick Village in Jefferson City where East High Street meets East McCarty Street. Quite a bit off the beaten path of the Katy.
