Several casual bikers in our 50's want to plan a fall trip to take in events on the trail. We were thinking of a at least taking in Herman's October Fest in 2020 and maybe more. Questions for seasoned Katy Trailers: Any suggestions for a 3 nite trip through towns that have hotels near restaurant/pubs? What is a suggested daily distance for us given the trail condition, potential weather, loaded bikes with packs, etc. Recommend mid or late fall? Any "must see" places or events within such ride? Anything else we should consider?
