The MKT trail is open the entire distance to the Katy Trail ? No wash outs or closures? Think it may get crowded over Memorial holiday?

I know the trail is closed for the remainder of the year between New Franklin and Rocheport. The alternative route requires you to ride on Highway 40. I'm not sure of other closures.
