I'm going to be driving cross-country in Sept and would like to stop for a couple nights along the trail at inn or B&B on the trail. I'd like to ride in one direction one day (about 50 miles R/T), then about 50 in the other direction the next day. So looking for recommendations....which city to stay in, a nice B&B or Inn, and the most scenic action of the trail. Thx

Check out the White Wolf Inn in Rhineland, mo.
1 mile from Katy trail.

Herman has many nice places to stay and is worth your visit with an out and back either direction. It’s a great German town to experience Missouri wine country. Rocheport is a very popular destination with an out and back to the East.

Small town in the center for a nice 2 day ride, 25 miles east to Roacheport and West 25 miles to Sedalia. The Katy junction B&B is 100 feet from the Katy trail.
