Why does there appear to be a gap in the trail on the map between Augusta and Dutzow? I'm new to the trail and am doing 100 miles over Thanksgiving weekend. Don't want any surprises!

Sorry for the confusion: that is just a glitch in the way the trail is drawn on the map - it's drawn in segments and one of the segments was not defined long enough. I will work on fixing the map.

The trail is uninterrupted there in real life. The only "real" gaps that I know of are near Portland, and west/north of Rocheport.
