Hi all, my friend in STL has Covid and cannot pick me up like we planned at the end of my solo Katy ride. What is the best option for getting from St Charles to the STL train station? I'm on the Sunday train back to KC.

Assuming you have a bike and gear to transport, you'll probably need a shuttle as opposed to a taxi or Uber.

Here's a list of shuttle services that serve the Katy Trail. The three at the bottom of the list are local to the St Louis area:

Other options, if you're up for more riding:

Bike to the St Louis airport, and then take Metro light rail from the airport to the downtown Amtrak station (the "Civic Center" stop on Metro). Here's a web page with more details and suggestions:

Bike to downtown St Louis (Amtrak is in the southwest part of downtown):

Bike to Kirkwood Amtrak Station (assuming you can change your ticket)

Good luck and happy trails!
