I plan to park and leave my car at St.Charles trail head and bike to Clinton. Then bike back to Sedalia to take an Amtrak train to return. It appears the train stops at Kirkwood before arriving at St.Louis. Is it better to get off at Kirkwood instead of St. Louis? What is the best way of returning to St.Charles with bike without riding through the city streets from either station? Are there city buses with a bike carrier? Any other ideas of transportation to St. Charles?
