Salt Creek detour: my wife and I traversed Salt Creek on 29 March. The water was only a few inches deep and the mud was firm enough to carefully navigate.

Good to know I plan on going trough there on Friday. It sounds like the detour is fairly obvious. Thanks

Any updates from the Salt Creek Detour onto the gravel? Hubs and I are riding that section next weekend (Apr 9, 11). We are experienced bike packers pedaling Salsa Fargos with 2.25" tires. The low water crossing? On google maps it looks like we just drop off the trail onto gravel, make a u-shaped detour and get right back on the trail. Is that right? We'd be clear after that? Thanks for any updates. :)
