Accuweather says flooding at Mokane and Hermann - anyone observing impacts? thx!

I suspect the trail will be safe for awhile. Rationale: it is unprofitable for trains to be stopped and not moving cargo. Obviously its not a working line, but it once was. There is probably going to take moderate flooding to effect the trail.

If you're on Facebook, join the Fans of Katy Trail group to get up-to-date reports from cyclists. Someone just posted a mile-by-mile assessment of the trail conditions. She rode the entire length a few days ago and did encounter washed out areas.
