Can anyone tell me how to get from the Katy Trail to Columbia and where to find mileage? I believe there is an MKT spur somewhere around Rocheport that will take us into Columbia?

The trail connection to Columbia is called the MKT Nature/Fitness Trail and the connection is just a few hundred feet before McBaine (you can't miss it). You can zoom into this map to see the route:
