Hello, I am just finding out about this trail. I am new to central Missouri. I have a few questions about this trail and the Katy trail. If I can get help I would appreciate it.

Is the trail marked in Eldon? I live 30 min south of Eldon and would like to take a look at the trail and make plans for a ride.
Does anyone know if they allow you to camp near either trail? Or is there no camping allowed on either trail?

To the best of my knowledge and I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong, the Rock Island trail from Windsor east is still hung up in Missouri legislature over funding. The Rock Island from Windsor to Pleasant Hill is open and nice to ride. Also the portion from Lee's Summit to Raytown will open this spring. My suggestion to you to research the KATY Trail and where the nearest trail head is for you. It is a very nice trail to ride.
