The trail between McBaine and Hindman Junction is a hot mess! Both sides of the bridge have 2-3 ft of dirt washed away, big ruts, rock showing. There are 'trail closed' signs up but people are walking through.
You can take the highway out of McBaine and go around the Big Tree loop, then pick the trail back up again. Closer to Rocheport there were a couple of landslides and trees down but as of last week you could get around everything.
Last weekend I rode from McBaine to Hartsburg and there were a couple of sand pits and bumpy areas. I had to do more paying attention and less looking around. Ha ha!
