Congratulations on finishing the M340 - lots of heat this year on the river. There are no "races" on the Trail - but, the DNR sponsors a whole trail ride every year (well, except for years when there is a plague, or severe storms and tornados that cause crazy damage to the Trail). I would not expect the DNR rides to resume until they have the bridge replaced at Salt Creek near Rocheport as there is just no really safe work sound for as many riders as they have on the DNR ride unless they can figure out a way to just shuttle riders from New Franklin to Rocheport. But, that's just my opinion.
