Wife and I did a night out and back from Clifton City and stayed here on 9/10-11. We picked campsite 1 as it was nice and secluded but across the trail from an RV park. Campsites 1,2, and 3 are furthest away from the other tent sites and the water/restrooms. RV park was noisy until late, lots of barking dogs from the local neighborhoods.

We did meet the operator of the site on his buggy, he graciously drove me to fill up our collapsable water jug and back. We thought we’d be mostly alone as were told that few had reserved the camping sites but it got busy and an annual festival was happening in New Franklyn which might have explained the extra traffic.

We did find everything as advertised and the sites were nice and large enough for our bikes and tent. Each site did have a fire pit, and a trash can and site 3 had a bike rack suitable for locking up at least 8 or 9 bikes.

Other tent sites were around a corner in the gravel road and a bit more separated from the trailer park.
