Honest feedback. Doug was very hospitable. My wife and I were riding the Katy full length and rented Doug's loft in the barn (he lives below). As he promised when I emailed him our dinner food list, he shopped and had the groceries in the loft upon arrival; everything exactly as we requested. Paid cash for that on top of room fee. But, the loft was not clean. If you are used to super-host Abnb's or nice B&B's, this is not the place. My wife was grossed out; she is sensitive to cleanliness. If you are just some guys passing through and don't mind those conditions, looking for a bed, shower and spot to have adult bevs, then this is the place for you. Also, the breakfast fruit, etc mentioned at reservations was not offered in the morning. Hope this is useful for travelers. Not trying to disparage Doug and the Barn. Had I read a review like this of the Barn, I would not have visited.
