I've seen a suggested route from LS to PH, but it's a ways west of the Comfort Inn where we'll be staying. (We're taking Amtrak into LS from Kirkwood, south of St. Louis) I've mapped out a fairly direct route from the Comfort Inn to Pleasant Hill, see link below. Does anyone know of any issues with this route? The roads look lightly traveled per google street view. There looks to be a gravel section..that's fine as long as it's reasonably good riding surface (not 3 inch railroad ballast). Good? Bad? Better options? thx..
