Had a somewhat short ride to CL on Mon Oct. 10th. This IS a pretty cool place to stop off for a night. We had campsite North #7, right on the river. Well, UP the drop off from the river. It was pretty darn cool site. We had a nearby electric pole. I had toted along a 25' cord and a power strip for charging our istuff. There was also a long water hose. Warning here - if you use the hose, let the water run for a bit to clear the hose. My first cup of coffee was terrible!

If you're watching for the "Boathenge", it'll be on your left and BOOM the trail opens up to Cooper's on your left.

The dudes in the little snack bar area were pretty cool and the beer was cold! It was a monday and there were no food trucks or no live music.

On to another much anticipated joint - the Turner Katy Shelter Hostel!
