We got rained out of our first 2 days of a west to east ride, but have time to go back and catch a 20 to 30 mile piece. Can anyone recommend a particularly nice or pleasant section between Clinton and Boonville?

Sedalia to Pilot Grove is a nice ride.

Sedalia to Boonville is 37 miles. There are hills between Sedalia and Pilot Grove, but you will be rewarded with a mostly-downhill ride from Pilot Grove to Boonville.
