I’d like to start this discussion again. I vote for McCittrick to Treolar. Combination of the forest and the views of the Missouri. What does everyone else think?

Indeed that is a beautiful section and an easy days ride. Stay at Joeys Birdhouse and ride East one day and West the next it’s beautiful in both directions!

My favorite section of the Katy is the stretch around Nona, MM70 or thereabouts. But this is personal preference. I still say Rocheport is the "capitol" of the Katy Trail and the sections immediately east and west of there are where I would take a visitor from out of state.

I was on the Katy the last few days. It's in great shape and even in the heat of the afternoon it is comfortable. If you haven't been out there recently you are missing out. Gorgeous!
