Did you know the Katy Trail is part of the national 6,800 mile American Discovery Trail (ADT)? This year, in celebration of our 250 birthday, the ADT Society is hosting the American Discovery 250 Relay starting on July 1st. We will be carrying a special relay baton across the country with a replica of the Declaration of Independence inside.

We will be on the Katy Trail as part of the relay starting on September 26 and finishing on the 30th. We need your help to carry the baton! You can choose to bike, hike, run or horseback as many miles as you wish. Registration is FREE, and if you're interested in carrying the baton, volunteering, or helping us host a welcoming event, please click here:
