There is a Best Western just a couple hundred yards from where the trail crosses over the main four lane thouroghfare (Hwy 65, I think) that runs through town. There is a pretty good hill from the trail bridge down to the road that CAN be used to walk your bicycle down (just a dirt path that some trail users have "created"). I'm sure there must be a road crossing near there that could be used, AND there are other options along that strip.
