This was the first time on the Katy and my cycling partner Ward and I started from Peasant Hill around mid day. We wanted to get to Clinton and thought it might be nice to do a stop with Charlie at Katy Junction before heading to St Charles. There are not enough positive things I can say about our camping stay which was two nights. The only problem with staying with Charlie at the start of our trip is that there will not be another place that could come even close to the positive experience we had at Katy Junction.
There was even another couple that was doing another section of the Katy who drove out of thier way to spend a night at the cabins because of all the positive things they hear about Charlie and their jewel on the Katy.
